Omega Protein operates some 40 refrigerated fishing vessels dedicated to catching fish specifically for meal and oil production. We catch only one species, menhaden, which are processed whole. We do not use cuttings or byproducts.
Omega Protein manufacturers four types of fish meal; Regular (Fair Average Quality or FAQ), Special Select, Natural Nautic and Sea-Lac for ruminants.
